Sarah Kelly, MSc (Hons) In Speech and Language Therapy
Qualification & Education
Sarah completed her MSc in Speech and Language Therapy in 2012 and is a registered member of of the Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists (IASLT). She has a BA in Montessori Education and a Postgraduate Diploma from Trinity College in Special Educational Needs. Sarah taught in schools and tutored children with Dyslexia before completing her Masters in Speech and Language Therapy. She has extensive experience working with children.
Sarah has over 5 years’ NHS experience working in the UK with children with a wide range of speech, language and communication difficulties including children with Autism, Down Syndrome and Intellectual Disability. She has worked in both community care and hospital settings holding a specialist post in early years. Sarah also delivers therapy in crèches, nurseries and schools and has provided effective training for staff and parents. She liaises with your child’s multi-disciplinary team including teachers, pre-school staff and special needs assistants.
Sarah is committed to continuing her professional development and has completed training in Elklan, Derbyshire Language Scheme, Palin Parent-Child Interaction, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and Makaton. She is dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with you and your child to plan therapy and achieve goals.
