Genevieve Williams, MSc (Hons) In Speech and Language Therapy
Qualification & Education
Genevieve is a Speech and Language Therapist registered with CORU and the Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists (IASLT). Genevieve has a BA in Linguistics and spent a year teaching English as a second language before completing her Masters in Speech and Language Therapy from the University of Limerick. Genevieve continues to specialise within her profession doing additional training in care pathways and intervention for clients with ADHD, training to support those who Self-harm, Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP), and Lámh. Genevieve is committed to providing high-quality, evidence base and family/client centred services.
Genevieve has extensive experience working with the paediatric population including children with Autism, Down Syndrome and Intellectual Disability. This experience also includes working with those who’ve a diagnosis of Developmental Language Disorder, Speech Disorder/ Delay, Language Delay, Stammering, Social Communication Difficulties, Emotional Regulation and Literacy Difficulties and Narrative Difficulties. Genevieve has also supported the use of and implementation of Augmented and Alternative Communication (AAC) to support both adults and children to communicate functionally with others.
Through this experience Genevieve believes in working collaboratively with you and your child to plan intervention and achieve therapy goals.
