Sarah Walsh, Clinical Speech & Language Therapist
Qualification & Education
Sarah graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a degree in Clinical Speech and Languages. She has developed further competency in the management of complex dysphagia (swallowing) disorders having completed the Maggie Lee Huckabee Dysphagia course. Sarah is currently pursing further medical studies in University College Dublin.
Having completed her undergraduate degree, Sarah relocated to the UK and worked across numerous clinical settings within the NHS including; acute stroke care, inpatient neuro-rehabilitation, inpatient mental health services, neurology and voice outpatient services, general community and community neuro-rehabilitation teams.
Sarah has a particular interest in the assessment and management of communication and swallowing disorders secondary to acute conditions, such as post stroke, and progressive neurological conditions including Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Dementia, Motor Neuron Disease and Multiple Systems Atrophy.
